    The California Department of Health Care Services invites you to attend a conference on August, 7, 2012 that will focus on the Low Income Health Program (LIHP). Participants will be invited to hear about and collaborate in discussions and workshops centered on the Low Income Health Program implementation for new counties, current stages of those already implemented, and the upcoming transitional work. Topics that will be covered include implementation successes, transition plans for 2014, and best practices for a thriving LIHP.

    California is on the verge of its most significant transformation of the long-term services and supports system in the last 30 years. The SCAN Foundation's Second Annual LTSS Summit will engage the full spectrum of LTSS representatives – consumers, providers, advocates, academics, administration officials, and policymakers – in discussions about emerging issues at the state and local levels. Summit participants will collaborate in the development of a blueprint that identifies concrete steps that individuals and organizations can take towards transforming the state’s LTSS system.
